What we check, and how

Every report is built from these checks. Anything marked "Not assessed yet" is left out of your report's results and never counts against you. We never make up ratings, rankings, reviews or competitors.

What the optional checklist score means

Reports use six areas: Online Presence, Search Visibility, Trust and Reputation, Customer Experience, Competitive Position and Website Quality. A completed, observed check earns 1 for a pass, ½ for partly met, or 0 for a failure. Each area's total is divided by its scored checks; the overall checklist uses the same formula across all scored checks, not an average of category percentages. Missing data and inferred-only signals are excluded. No scored checks means “Not assessed”, never 0 or 50.

“Checked” means evidence was returned for the checks in scope. “Partly checked” means some checks have limited evidence or part of the broader area remains unavailable. “Not checked” means no checks returned evidence. A score in a partly checked area describes only its observed website checks, not the whole area. These scores do not measure rankings, independent reputation, competitor performance or business growth. Demonstration scores use fictional checks clearly labelled as sample data.

How priorities are set: each finding is weighed by how important it is, how much it matters for your type of business and your goal, whether we confirmed it directly, how easy it is to fix, and whether something else should be fixed first (for example, Google must be allowed to list your site before improving how your listing reads). Findings are observations, not guarantees of more inquiries or sales.
